It appears that there is a new setting for followers to declare ‘replication sets’ (–replication-set in seed creation statement), per this reference: Deploy the Conjur Follower and Seeding a node. In terms of what this affects, I would presume this has an impact on what secrets are replicated to which followers. This would be paramount to have as a feature in many environments (following least privilege).

However, this feature is still in Controlled Availability to be Generally Available in an upcoming release.
